A Look Into My Messy Art Studio with Julia Paige

This is a view of my art studio!

I have been painting in acrylics, mixed media and am now working in and practicing oil painting as well as cold wax and oils. As a multidisciplinary artist, I get to play with all the tools !

Spreading all my art and materials out, is a way for my art to speak to each other a bit as a lot of my work interrelates with other art and paintings I am currently creating. This is one of the great reasons I work on multiple projects at once ! Keeps the creativity flowing !

Abstracts and Mixed media

I am an expressionist portrait and figurative painter, but my love for abstract painting has become a huge part of my work. I have been practicing some new techniques, using new methods and tools and have been creating and expressing my own voice and style. I am currently painting several pieces for upcoming exhibitions.

Morning Light In My Studio

I get a lot of natural light in my studio which for me is a very inviting and sweet time to drink my coffee and do some sketchbook warm-ups.
